Current Job Descriptions
TAX MANAGER
More than 7 years current public accounting experience with either a
national or quality local firm with an emphasis on 990, 1040, 1041,
1065, 1120, and 1120S. Other experiences with estates and gifts,
international taxation, as well as state and local taxes a plus. Tax
return review experience required. CPA license required. A typical day
would include reviewing, mentoring and training tax staff, as well as
preparation of highly complex tax returns and billing. The work
requires extensive client contact and the ability to effectively
coordinate and schedule staff.
TAX SENIOR
More than 2 years of current public accounting experience with an
emphasis on the preparation of individual and corporate income tax
returns. CPA or CPA candidate required. A typical day would include
reviewing, mentoring and training tax staff, as well as preparation of
medium complexity tax returns. The work requires considerable client
contact and a desire to excel and advance.
AUDIT MANAGER
More than 7 years current public accounting experience with either a
national or quality local firm with an emphasis on planning,
supervising and reviewing audits, reviews and compilation engagements.
CPA license is required. A typical day would include reviewing,
mentoring, training accounting staff and billing. The work requires
extensive client contact and the ability to effectively coordinate and
schedule staff.
AUDIT SENIOR
More than 3 years current public accounting experience with either a
national or quality local firm with an emphasis on planning and
conducting audits, reviews and compilation engagements. CPA or CPA
candidate required. A typical day would include reviewing, mentoring,
and training staff accountants, as well as conducting various
engagements through financial statement preparation. The work requires
considerable client contact and a desire to excel and advance.
BUSINESS SERVICE MANAGER
More than 5 years current public accounting experience with either a
national or quality local firm with an emphasis on write-up, payroll,
state and local taxes. CPA license required. A typical day would
include reviewing the work of paraprofessionals, researching tax
notices, preparing correspondence with tax authorities, assisting
paraprofessionals with more complex accounting issues. The work
requires extensive client contact and could lead to partnership
position.
STAFF ACCOUNTANT
A qualified applicant has CPA certificate or is a CPA candidate and
has 1+ years experience with a public accounting firm.
PARAPROFESSIONAL
More than 5 years of hands-on full charge bookkeeping experience
in private industry or a CPA firm. Persons in this position must be
able to organize after-the-fact accounting and payroll records, code
transactions, reconcile bank statements and appropriate general ledger
accounts, and prepare payroll and sales tax returns. Computer skills
would include word processing, spreadsheet, and accounting software
including Quickbooks.
