Rodney S. Laval, CPA

Retired

After over 40 years devoting himself to Glickstein Laval Carris, P.A. and his clients, Rod retired in 2017.  During his busy years as a certified public accountant Rod worked in the areas of construction, not-for-profit organizations, and personal service corporations.  Rod has been a member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and served in executive capacities on various boards of directors and homeowner associations.

Before becoming a CPA, Rod served in the U.S. Air Force and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from the University of South Florida.  Rod was raised in St. Petersburg, Florida and then moved to the Central Florida area in 1971.  Now that he is retired, he and his wife, Carolyn, have moved to Chesapeake Bay, Virginia.  They now split their time between their dream home in Chesapeake Bay and with their two sons and 5 grandchildren in South Carolina.
